Care & Mobility Show coming to a region near you!

10th April 2014

Ahead of The Care & Mobility Show taking place in Dublin in June, Medcare Events, the name behind the hotly anticipated show, has announced that it will be hosting more events of this calibre around the country – Medcare Events has announced that it will be hosting regional Care & Mobility events across the UK from September of this year. A series of events will make up The Care & Mobility Show calendar to satisfy regional demand for knowledge and demonstrations of mobility aids and elderly care.

The Care & Mobility Show in Dublin is due to take place over 13th and 14th June later this year and will provide a selection of products, services, advice and assistance to both elderly stair lift users and those with a disability who may benefit from the professionals attending the event.

First stop south-west

Following the Irish edition, the first stop on the Care & Mobility Show calendar, under the same name and similar format, will be the south-west of England. The event will be taking place at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Somerset on the 7th September, a great location that is easily accessible from all parts of the south-west of England. Organisers are excited about taking the event to the south of the country as it is an area with the highest percentage of residents over the age of 65 in the country, making it a region where they feel people will benefit most from the information and knowledge shared at the event.

Through their research Medcare events have identified a need for such events in England as well as Ireland and that although the two countries operate under different healthcare systems, the needs of elderly residents with restricted mobility and a need for home care is universal in both.

Those who can’t wait for the event in September can speak with a knowledgeable Handicare advisor about the features and uses of easy access walk in showers and baths and accessible bathroom facilities, as well as their whole range of mobility aids for the home.
