Stairlifts Scotland

Are you looking for a stairlift and are living in Scotland? Handicare offers a range of stairlifts to suit your needs, providing straight, curved and reconditioned stairlifts across Scotland and the rest of the UK. Designed to suit your specific and unique needs and help aid safety and independence in the home.

Putting you and your needs first, Handicare will take care of the whole process. From installation of your stairlift to guidance from a Handicare engineer, your new stairlift will be easy to use and quick to supply and install.

Curved Stairlifts Scotland

Whether your stairs are curved, spiral or run around a corner, Handicare has a range of stairlifts including curved stairlifts that can be designed bespoke to your staircase.

The Freecurve has an attractive, single tubular rail that enables it to fit even the narrowest of staircases, making it the perfect choice for people with awkward and curved staircases. Customisable and one of the best cost-effective solutions, this heavy-duty option can be personalised to complement your home’s décor.

No matter what type of stairlift you’re looking for, each and every one is made to order and fitted by an expert team of engineers alongside trained advisors who are on hand to answer any questions you may have. If you choose to have a stairlift installed, a member of Handicare’s friendly team will visit your home to take exact measurements and ensure a safe and reliable fit.

Straight Stairlifts Scotland

Straight stairlifts are the perfect option for people with staircases that have no corners. For people with narrow staircases, the Age Co 1100 Stairlift has the narrowest track on the market, it is slim and compact and can be placed close to the wall to free-up more space on the stairs. The model is also fitted with a continuous charge and safety sensors as standard.

Those with restricted mobility could also opt for a perch seat stairlift, allowing you to lean safely against the stairlift instead of sitting and rising from a seated position. Perch seats are available on the Age Co 1000 Stairlift.

Reconditioned Stairlifts Scotland

Handicare understands that for some, purchasing a new stairlift isn’t a viable option. With that in mind, Handicare offers a range of reconditioned stairlifts that offer the same, high quality and safety as the new curved and straight options. Available in the same designs, not only are they great value for money, they offer the same level of quality and reliability as the rest of the range.

Handicare also feels it is important to offer you a Price Promise, meaning they will match the price if you find a similar product at a cheaper price. The promise covers reconditioned stairlifts of comparable quality to the one you request.

Stairlift Servicing Scotland

Once your new or reconditioned stairlift is installed, you’re likely to use it regularly, sometimes on a daily basis. General wear is normal, so the servicing team are on hand to undertake a stairlift service should it be required.

Handicare knows how important your stairlift may be to your independence, which is why they suggest you book regular maintenance and servicing. Handicare’s experts suggest that you arrange a service for your brand new stairlift every 12 months and every 6 months for older or reconditioned models.
